Soup & Sandwich Sundays
September to May Maranatha has a Soup & Sandwich Sunday (except for December). (In December, there is usually a Christmas Banquet and so there is no Soup & Sandwich Sunday that month.)
One Sunday a month the congregation meets together for lunch following the morning service. Attendees provide a plate of sandwiches or a plate of finger desserts. There is also a free-will offering, the proceeds going to the Benevolence Fund. For upcoming dates, check the current bulletin on-line (on the Downloads page).
Our Church Library
Our Church Library, in the front foyer, is open for 30 minutes on Sundays after the morning worship service. CDs and DVDs may only be borrowed at this time. Books may be signed out at any time. Resources may be borrowed by signing them out in the Loans Binder on the Library desk. (The date items are returned should also be entered in the Loans Binder.)
Items are purchased for the library from donations received and your support in helping us to continue growing is much appreciated. Our Librarian is Ann Bonkowski and our Library Team Leader is Gordon Petley-Jones.
